259 0ut Of 3554 Special Flights Pakistani Passengers Test Positive For COVID-19

3554 passengers have landed Punjab through special 22 special flights and 259 have tested positive for COVID-19.

The passengers who came back from Colombo, Qatar, UAE, and New York have been quarantined so that they complete their incubation period before being testes. These passengers are 767 in number.  

Prof Dr. Asad Aslam, Mayo Hospital Chief Executive revealed that 105 passengers patients tested positive in quarantine centers under his management. 35 of these patients were brought to the center two weeks ago and 70 were brought a week ago.

Samples of the patients are being collected after the incubation period.

A dead body was also brought from Abu Dhabi though the cause of the death is not being shared by the authorities.

136 patients are quarantined in Faisalabad and 484 quarantined are from Lahore.  

The passengers who can back from New York are going to be the most troubling as it is one of the worst-hit areas in the world. They are 248 in number.

Among the 215 patients who arrived from Dubai, 76 have tested positive. Only 2 passengers out of 249 from Qatar have tested positive.

Two more flights have come back on April 24 in Lahore and 34 of the passengers have tested positive for COVID-19.
