798 People Tested Covid19 Positive In Pakistan Today

Today on Friday, the tally of deaths due to covid19 have surged to 6,444. In the last twenty-four hours, seven deaths were reported, whereas the positive cases have reached 309,015.

798 new people have been tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the figures shared by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC). 

As per the latest figures available, 294,740 covid19 patients have recovered nationwide. The curve has comparatively flattened in the last few days.

However, Sindh kept its position as the province that is most severely affected by the epidemic in terms of the number of cases, it is followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and lastly Balochistan.

Until now, about 98,864 cases of Covid19 were reported in Punjab, 135,246 in Sindh province, 37525 in KPK, 14,838 in Balochistan, 16,324 in the capital Islamabad, and in Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir a collective number of 6218.

Moreover, lives lost to this pandemic in Sindh are reported to be 2,477, 2,229 in Punjab, about 1,258 in KPK, 145 in Balochistan, 181 in Islamabad, and about 154 collectively in Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir.

In Pakistan thus far three million-plus coronavirus tests were conducted. In the last twenty-four hours, 37,504 tests were done nationwide.
