NCOC issued SOPs for Eid Prayer, Worshippers to bring own mat

The National Command and Operation Centre has announced guidelines for people to follow when to go to mosques to offer their prayers on Eidul Fitr as Pakistan celebrates Eid today on 13th May, 2021. 

The SOPs said that prayers should be offered in grounds and open spaces, and if people are offering prayers at mosques then the halls ought to be ventilated.

Mosques and Eidgahs will need to install thermal scanners at their entrances.

Those above the age of fifty and youngsters, especially those that are ill, are instructed to offer their prayers at home and avoid coming to mosques.

People will need to pray six feet aside from one another and discussions after prayers, shaking hands and hugging are prohibited.

Prayers could be held twice in places where large numbers of individuals appear for prayer.

Worshipers are asked to bring their own prayer mats and perform ablutions at home to avoid virus contraction
