Everything You Need To Know About Coronavirus  Confirmed Cases In Pakistan

Pakistan has recently reported two cases of Coronavirus. The news was revealed by Special Assistant to PM Imran Khan on Health, Dr. Zafar Mirza. It was a few minutes the first case of the virus was confirmed  

Shortly, a press conference was held to tackle the alarming situation and provide a more detailed brief. Dr. Mirza specially requested media not to share the personal information of the patients.

He asked people not to panic. More so he revealed that the patients traveled to Iran. He informed everyone about the helpline 1166. He encouraged people to use it saying, ” Please don’t hesitate to call the number.”

The health minister of Sindh confirmed that the patient was traveling from Tehran to Pakistan in a plane. He already had coronavirus when he was in Tehran.

In response to the outbreak in Sindh, schools will remain closed for 27th and 28th February as announced by the Sindh Education Minister. Schools in Balochistan will also remain closed till March 15 since it is closer to Iran’s border.

The details about the passengers with whom he was traveling were immediately gathered so that they can also be checked for the coronavirus. The man and his family were taken to the hospital. A team will also be sent to investigate his home and neighborhood.

The 22 years old condition was starting to decline on February 18 when he went through the cupping therapy in Iran. This was followed by a headache. The thermal screening machines would have not worked when he arrived on February 20.

Previously the borders have been closed with Iran where the virus has claimed the life of 19 people. !39 people including the health minister Iraj Harirchi have been infected with the disease. Iran is the second country that has reported most of the deaths.

The government of Balochistan has also stopped pilgrims from traveling to and from the country. Coronavirus has killed 2700 people so far.
