In Punjab Coronavirus Cases Reach 100,000 Mark

Punjab has crossed the mark of 100,000 coronavirus cases today after 92 cases were reported in the last twenty-four hours.

In the province of Punjab, the total cases are 100,033, according to the spokesman of the Provincial Health Department.

A large number of cases that surfaced were from Lahore, and few were from Rawalpindi and Attock as well.

The death tally in the province reached 2,243 after three patients lost their lives to the virus while being treated in the hospital.

Nationwide, 467 new coronavirus positive cases were noticed in the last 24 hours, after which the total covid19 cases in Pakistan are 315,727.

According to the National command and Operation Centre (NCOC), six patients that were under treatment died too. The total fatalities due to covid19 are 6,523 as per the reports.

In the last 24 hours, approximately 28,280 cases were conducted nationwide. About 300,616 COVID-19 patients have recovered thus far.

The recovery ratio of the coronavirus patient is 90 percent in Pakistan.

Out of the total infected in Pakistan, 138,593 were in Sindh, 100,033 were in Punjab, 38,105 were in KPK, 16,845 were in the capital, 15,420 were in Balochistan, and 6,671 in AJK & Gilgit Baltistan.
