Sindh government has allowed the congregational prayers on Eid-ul-Fitr and Jummatul-Wida. The news has been shared by Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani. He said that prohibiting prayers will be unfair since many reservations of the lockdown have been lifted.
Both of the days are very important to the Muslims. However, the standard operating procedures (SOPs) are to be followed.
Sindh Assembly, Education minister Saeed Ghani held a press conference in this regard and revealed that the prayers will be held at enormous spaces. The large crowd might have wait for their turns as the prayer might be held in sessions. Distance will also be maintained between the worshipper
Previously, the closing timings extension was also considered by the provincial government.
“If a decision is taken at the federal level then we will also extend the closure timings of businesses in the province,” said Sindh Minister for Information Nasir Hussain Shah.
