Smart Lockdown In Balochistan Extended To Slow Covid-19

The provincial government of Balochistan has decided to extend the smart lockdown to hinder the spread of Covid-19 in the province. This lockdown will be implemented till July 15.

Major cities like Quetta and other parts of Balochistan will have to strictly follow the lockdown. It has been announced by the provincial home department via notification.

According to this notification, shopping malls, markets, shops, warehouses, auto-repair shops, and hair salons will remain open from 9 in the morning to 7 in the evening. However, all businesses are to remain close on Fridays.

Education institutions will remain closed till July 15. Public points like cinemas, parks, wedding halls, and restaurants will also remain closed.

The death toll of the province stands at 121.
