Solving the traders’ issues is the biggest priority
Rawalpindi Development Authority Tariq Mehmood Murtaza said that problems faced by traders in Rawalpindi would be addressed on a priority basis.
Speaking to a delegation of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries, RDA said that measures are to be taken to provide safe parking lots to traders at vacant plots of the municipal corporation and Tehsil Office Rawalpindi. The operation would also be launched against encroachments.
About the Ring Road project, he mentioned that work would be started on 25th December. Shifting the wholesale markets and truck terminals along the Ring Road would help ease the traffic congestion within the city.
He further said that a meeting would be held regarding easy passages for traders and City Traffic Officer would be invited to the meeting. The traders assured full cooperation in this regard.
