When the trip ends, the user will be asked if everything is okay and be able to report a safety incident and submit the audio recording to Uber with a few taps. Uber has announced to launch New Security feature called “Record Audio“. The feature would initially be available in Brazilian and Mexican cities from next month. After test launch of the feature it would be available to US and other countries.
The features allows driver and the passenger to activate the record audio security feature from security toolkit. And at the end of the ride the recording could be sent to the uber administration in order to report any security threat.
It is reported that the user wont be able to delete the audio recording neither they could hear it. But, it will be saved in the data base for future usage.
