Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday announced to give a rupees 12,000 4 months stipend in lumpsum under economic relief package. The federal government on the PM’s directives announced that the stipend will be disbursed among the 10m people belonging to a low-income category to help them at this time of crisis amidst COVID19 outspread.
The federal government not was proposed to issue Rs. 4000 monthly stipend, but later on the government approved Rs. 3000 monthly stipend to be depressed among 10 million deserving people.
According to the document, of the total 10 million beneficiaries of the government decision, five million people are those who are already getting the monthly stipend under Ehsaas Kafalat while three million people are those whose monthly income is Rs20,000. The other two million people are daily wage workers and vendors who are at present not registered with the program will be covered under the PM’s relief package.
