Government To Provide Free Groceries To Individuals Earning Below Rs 25,000

PM Imran Khan made an announcement today which revealed that the government will provide free groceries to low-income groups. This low-income group includes those who are earning below Rs 25,000.

The decision was taken in a cabinet meeting. A substantial amount has been allocated in the budget to provide the low-income group with essential commodities such as oil, sugar, wheat, and other basics.

The government has taken this initiative in order to give relief to the low income segment and bring comfort in their lives. According to Imran Khan,

“ Provision of relief to low-income segments of the society and adhering to their basic needs is the foremost responsibility of the state. The government is trying its level best and committed to ensuring meeting basic requirements of low-income segments of the society.“

Previously, 6 billion rupees were allocated in the budget for utility stores from where people can buy basic commodities at a low price.

Imran Khan also highlighted the effort being made by the government to cater to the nation in inflation through a tweet.
