No Electricity For More Than 90 Hours In Many Areas Of Karachi
The K-electric which is the provider of electricity has failed to restore the electricity supply in different areas of Karachi.
Many areas in Karachi remained in dark without any electricity for more than 90 hours because of the heavy rain.
The K-electric which is the provider of electricity has failed to restore the electricity supply in a few areas. People took this poor performance to social media to protest.
These areas were Defence, Clifton, Lyari, SITE area, Orangi, Korangi, Old City Area, Yousuf Goth, Punjab Colony, Maripur Baldia Town, Liaquatabad, Nazimabad, Gulberg, Sadar, Jacob Lines and MA Jinnah road which remains submerged since Thursday.
The people of Gulistan-e-Johar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Lyari and Korangi are already protesting of the power cut.

Karachi Electric (KE) reported that two feeders in DHA’s Phase 4 and Muslim Commercial had been powered up “Clifton Block 7 and two of the three feeders in Bath Island have also been energized”, the power utility via tweet
