Pakistan and United states will work together and battle US-Pakistan parental child abduction issue. The US state department confirmed it on Thursday in a press release. Moreover, the statement said that the both countries will work under the Hague Abduction Convention.
Noticeably, the convention addresses child custody issues and the need to bring forward this problem. However, from October 2020 Pakistan will work with the convention, to avoid the problem of parental child abduction cases.

“The Convention will enter into force between the United States and Pakistan on October 1, 2020. An internationally recognized legal framework will put into place to resolve cases of US-Pakistan parental child abduction” US state Department.
As per the press release, on July 1, 2020, US accepted Pakistan’s accession to the 1980 Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction (the Convention).

Furthermore, the press release by the department said agreement to address Pakistan US parental child abduction issue will give a new turn to US-Pakistan relationship.
This new agreement will further nourish the relationship between the two countries!
More so, the agreement will enhance the shared commitment to protecting children, read the statement.
