Defence Analyst Lt Gen (retd) Amjad Shoaib while talking about the matter of COAS extension says it is bringing embarrassment to Pakistan Army. He said that bureaucracy is the right body to deal with this matter and avoid the ongoing crisis of COAS extension.
Gen. Amjad Shoaib while talking on GEO News show said that Gen. Bajwa had no intention to get the extension. The government took the decision because COAS has helped the government foreign policy and economic affairs. Also, he arranged loans from the Middle East.
The Analyst said that the decision was taken after Prime Minister Imran Khan’s US visit.
