Clearing Agents Under A Regularization Radar

Mohammad Jawad Owais Agha, Member Federal Board of Revenue (Customs), has made it certain that clearing agents will be under watch especially those working on temporary licenses and record of no cases against them. The news was made through a press release on Wednesday.

The meeting also allowed the clearing agents to raise their issues where they stated that they are not being issued a permanent license which gets in the way of many significant business activities.

More so, the president President FCAG KP Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi appreciated Member Customs Jawad Owais Agha and Chairman, APCCA, Mohammad Arshad Jamal for the efforts they have made for improving and eradicating the problems which have been disturbing the system for decades now.  

He said that Arshad Jamal has raised the issue in a smart manner and issued directives to help the custom agents by solving their longstanding problems.
