Education Minister: Supplementary Examinations & Matriculation Decision Under Review

Shafqat Mehmood has announced that the government still has to decide the policy of the matriculation classes and supplementary exams. However, there is no confusion in the decision of the newest policies introduced for academic processes.

According to the Federal Minister of Education, the decision about the schools has been taken to protect the lives of the students. On the basis of previous results, the examinations have been suspended and the decision has been taken after an immense amount of scrutinization.

The supplementary students and the matriculation classes which include grade 9 and 10 classes.

The boards all over the country have been requested to forward the recommendations in two to three days. He urged private schools to promote the students without any examination. However, this decision has been opposed by the private schools and they have asked for proper SOPs.

He also cleared that the lockdown has not ended. There are a few restrictions which have been lifted.
