‘The letter has been sent to His Royal Highness the King at 1 p.m.,’ Mahathir’s office said in a statement. The Malaysian ruling party, Bersatu, has also quit the ruling coalition.
The news is confirmed on Monday by people who are in close connection with Malaysian Royalty. However, there is no official statement issued in this regard.
