Pakistan’s First Drive-Through Vaccination Center is Inaugurated in Lahore.
The District Government Lahore has established Pakistan’s first Drive through Vaccination Center at Nishtar Park Sports Complex, Lahore. The Bank of Punjab has provided the complete framework and support for the project.
The First of its kind facility was jointly inaugurated by Bank of Punjab President Zafar Masud and Deputy Commissioner Mudassir Riaz Malik.
Now citizens can easily be vaccinated within just 15-20 minutes which includes registration, vital checking, and inoculation. After vaccination, citizens have to wait for 15 minutes in the parking lot.

At the Inauguration ceremony, BOP President shared his views he said, “It is another great step towards meeting the national target of vaccinating 70 million people by the end of this year. It is essentially important that everyone gets vaccinated at the earliest in order to stop the spread of this pandemic and to bring back normalcy which is not only critical for the social fabric of society but also the economic activity,”
Mudassir Riaz said: “The opening of this facility will help the district government in achieving the target of getting seven to eight million population of the city vaccinated in six months.
This Drive through vaccination center will remain open from 8 pm to 2 am on weekdays and 5 pm to 2 am on Saturday and Sunday, with the capacity to cater to a large number of people at a time.
