Prime Minister Imran Khan has formed a special national coordination committee to cate to the needs of the construction sector of the country.
The convener of the committee would be Chairman Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority. More so, officials from housing, planning division, energy, petroleum, and law departments of the federal government will be included in the committee.
Chief secretaries and Deputy Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will also be a part of the team.
This 13-member committee will identify the obstacles the construction industry has been facing. Housing sector issues of acquiring NOCs will also be watched over very carefully with the help of this committee.
A progress report will be submitted to the Prime Minister twice a week.

The committee will also act as a focal point to acquire permission between the federal government and provinces.
