Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Government released funds for completion of development projects in Karachi. There are number of incomplete ongoing project that would be completed using the issued funds.
As per reports, funds would be spent through Sindh Infrastructure Development Company. Reconstruction of Nishtar Road, Manghopir Road is part of project. Whereas, SIDC plans to construction of a signal-free corridor from Matric Board office to Sakhi Hassan.
Whereas, Green Line Project – till Numaish Chowrangi will take 2 bn Rupees. Furthermore, construction of Institute of Technical and Management Science in Hyderabad is Rs500 million project and is also in pipeline.

The government, in March this year, had announced a Rs162-billion worth special package for Karachi.
Ten projects related to public transportation while seven related to sewerage system have been included in the package, says PM while making the announcement.
The Primes Minister also informed about the water preservation campaign. He said it is a dire need to start campaigns for water preservation. He regrets that no steps were taken in past for preserving water in Karachi.
