Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has recently taken the decision of banning the PlayerUnknown’s Battleground (PUBG) temporarily. PUBG which is one of the most popular games in the world is being banned temporarily and the permanent ban is still subject to consultation.
We have received many complaints regarding the game,” said the PTA spokesperson. He alsoreveledthat many complaints have been received in the past regarding the game is a waste of time and leaving a negative impact on youth.
This ban was a result of a complaint of two parents who had suffered because of the game. The children of these parents attempted suicide after they were not given permission for playing the game.
There are three suicide incidents because of the game in Lahore.

Lahore Capital City Police Office (CCPO) Zulfiqar Hameed has also written a letter to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to ban the game which is causing youth to attempt suicide.
He also provided the authorities of the relevant suicide cases so that action to be taken against can proceed.
