The salaries of pilots employed at Qatar Airways will be slashed in order to balance the drastic revenue collapse which has occurred due to novel coronavirus leading to travel crisis.
There is going to be a 25% reduction in salaries of the senior pilots as reveled by the chief flight operations officer Jassim Alharoon in a memo composed on June 4.
“In the upcoming weeks many of our captains, senior first officers, first officers and cadet pilots will be made redundant,” Haroon wrote.There was no information on how many will be let go.
