Turkey Reopens The Grand Bazaar

The government of Turkey has eased the restrictions in the country and has opened the Grand Bazaar market, one of the most iconic places in Istanbul. The lock down was eased on Monday as reported by AFP.

Many other places have also been opened including many restaurants, libraries and museum acrosss the country and many employees have returned back to work.

The bazaar which is home to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia museum had everything cosed since March 23 in order to contain the spread of COVID-19.

This was market’s longest closure since 1535, the year it was established.
