PM Imran Khan is worried about the conflict between the US and Iran since it will trigger poverty in the developing countries.

PM Imran Khan recently in an interview on CNBC, a popular American media outlet, showed his concern about the US Iran conflict. He said, “It would be a disaster if the conflict would take place between the US and Iran.”

He highlighted the present condition of Afghanistan where people are still dying and peace talks are still being conducted for a ceasefire. He also suspected that conflict with Iran will be of bigger consequences.

When asked about the solution to the problem, he said that their military solutions are not reliable. It can start five other problems. He said, “People who try to solve problems with bloodshed and war, they cause mayhem in this world.”

He also expressed the concerns of Pakistan with the arising conflict. He said,

“A conflict with Iran right now would be a disaster for developing countries. Oil prices will shoot up and countries like us who are just about balancing, everything will go. This will just cause poverty. “

Therefore he had to inform President Trump that war is not a solution.
