'World's Most Expensive Burger' introduced by Netherlands Restaurant

As most restaurants worldwide struggled to continue their businesses owing to the COVID-19 pandemic and the succeeding lockdowns, a Netherlands restaurant ‘de Daltons’ emerged with a fresh business idea and made 'The Golden Boy', the 'world's most expensive burger'.

As per a report, the price of the burger is $6,000 (or €5,000). The restaurant expects that the burger will create a world record.

According to the owner of the restaurant, ‘Robbert Jan de Veen’, it was his dream since childhood to create a world record.

“Breaking a world record has been one of my childhood dreams and I feel amazing,” the report cited de Veen as saying.

At present, the burger which holds the ‘most expensive burger’ title in the world is priced at $5,000 (€4,200). It is created by Juicys Outlaw Grill in Oregon, United States, and weighs 352.44kg. According to the Guinness World Records, the burger has been holding the record since 2011.

The burger is most expensive as the bun of the burger contains a gold leaf. Its other ingredients include king crab, white truffle, duck egg mayonnaise, beluga caviar, and Dom Pérignon champagne, as per Euro News.
