Pakistan has asked India to cut the size of their diplomatic staff in Pakistan to half due to which 38 Indian High Commission officials were sent home viaWahga Border. This action has been taken in regard to the tit-for-tat approach Pakistan will be using to handle the matter with India.
The Indian Commission officials included six diplomats and left via Wagah border in a bus along with a truck. The Indian officials also included a first secretary, two-second secretaries, and three attachés.
100 officials in Pakistani High Commision in New Delhi ill also return to their homes along with their families via Wagah border today.
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has previously asked to seek a 50 percent reduction in the staff strength of the High Commission for Pakistan in New Delhi on the basis of allegations which were rejected by Islalmabad categoriacllay on June 23.

These allegations were based on the violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations
The decison of redcuing the staff has been considered mutual and therefore Chargé d’ Affaires has to implement the decision within 7 days.
