962 smuggled mobiles have been seized by the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department. These seized phones were worth millions of rupees which involved armed persons in operation at Rind Road Peshawar. These armed men opened fire on the Customs Intelligence Department which fortunately did not do any damage and was fought back.
The custom department driver helped in recovering a vehicle that had illegal mobiles. A Toyota Corolla vehicle was also freed from the captivity of the gunmen.
FIR was registered against the gunmen keeping illegal mobiles and vehicles.
