American Troops Leaving Afghanistan

American troops are exiting from Afghanistan as revealed by US officials who spoke to the media after weeks of the US Afghanistan historical agreement. This agreement was signed between Washington and the Taliban. There has been bloodshed of 19 years between both countries which has been finally sorted out.

According to the official, US troops have started to leave which were hundreds in number. The number of soldiers has been reduced to 8600 from 13000.

“US Forces Afghanistan has begun its conditions-based reduction of forces to 8,600 over 135 days,” spokesman Colonel Sonny Leggett said in a statement.

The historical deal includes the guarantees to prevent the use of Afghan soil against the security of the United States and international terrorist groups. More so, it also demanded a timeline that can brief about the withdrawal of Afghanistan.
