Pakistani Startup Receives a direct investment from Bill & Gates Foundation.
This startup targets the $75 billion market research industry. The investment has been provided in order to develop advanced Artificial Intelligence models for data collection.
SurveyAutoexperts is more like an “uber” for the field data. The process of data collection will not rely on dedicated teams but local community members with smartphones. These local will be responsible for reporting the data. This will save a lot of money since teams are very expensive.
One of the industry expert who knows the company said, ” What Uber has done to taxi services, they are aiming to do the same to traditional market research companies like Neilsen and Gallup.”
Survey Auto Founder and CEO said, “SurveyAuto uses a crowdsourcing model and relies on machine learning to decide who reports data, where it is collected, and when and how often it is reported. This reduces cost and minimizes human errors.”
This service uses satellite imagery to identify the survey targets and tracks and monitors the participants in real-time using Smartphone applications.
SurveyAuto is already working on a number of international engagements such as World Bank, Innovations in Poverty Action (IPA), ITA, UNESCO. The headquarter is in Lahore, Pakistan.
