Disney Taking Hamilton, Broadway Hit Musical To Cinema

Hit musical Hamilton is on its way to cinema as announced by the creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. The film will be released in movie theaters in 2021.

The musical was famous for using rap and hip-hop genre which is very different from traditional musical. This helped the musical win 11 Tony Awards.  

It has become the highest-grossing Broadway musical since its debut back in 2015. This musical narrates the story of one of the founding fathers of America, Alexander Hamilton.

The release date for the motion picture of the hit musical announced is October 15, 2021.

The movie is expected to witness the same success as the musical.

Hamilton musical made $633 million and 2.5 people have been privileged to see the musical in New York.

The three-year tour of the show just ended in Chicago. Since 2017, a production of Hamilton has been in London West End.

In the Heights, the latest theatre creation of Lin-Manuel Miranda is under progress and will be available for his fans in June.
