At a grand Royal ceremony carried out in Bahrain on Tuesday, Edhi Foundation is presented by the forth Isa Award for service to humanity. The award conveyed a USD 1 Million reward and a Gold Medal along with a certificate of appreciation. The award is delivered by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the ruler of Bahrain.
The ceremony is followed by the recommendation of an international jury and Edhi Foundation is selected from a pool of qualifiers from different countries.
Isa Award for services to Humanity” established in 2009 by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain. The Isa Award is granted every two years to either individuals or organizations who have been selected through a grueling process by an expert panel of jurists.
The award has been named after His Highness the Late Amir of Bahrain, Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa may God rest his soul in peace
This award is a gift from Bahrain to the world.
