Eight-Years-Old Becomes Richest YouTuber After Earning $26 Million

The highest-paid YouTuber is an eight-year-old child as published by Forbes Magazine.  Ryan Kaji who is only eight years old has videos with billions of likes and has earned $26 million in 2019 through his Youtube channel.

Kaji has already been reported the highest-paid Youtuber in 2018 when he earned $22 million in 2018. The channel Ryan’s world was launched in 2015 by Ryan’s parents. However, it has almost 22.9 million subscribers.

Kaji whose real name is people Ryan Guan previously called his channel “Ryan ToysReview” which mostly consisted of videos with Ryan unboxing of toys and playing with them. Now, more educational videos are being promoted on the channel.

The reason for giving educational content on the channel was the complaint filed by an advocacy organization, Truth in Advertising, with the US Federal Trade Competition. The advocacy organization was of the view that the channel promotes sponsored products that distorts the truth.  

Google, the parent company of Youtube, has already paid $170 million fine after being accused by FTC for collecting information and data from the YouTube users without permission.

This information was used for targeting children only for advertising purposes.
