The biggest airline is not paying passengers the refund amount. Instead, they are offering vouchers for the canceled flights which can be redeemed after a year.
Emirates has surrendered all the flying activities on Wednesday in response to the closing of the airport because of the Coronavirus crisis. However, the European Union requires all the airlines to make a proper refund within a week.
This Dubai-based giant carrier has told the world to compromise with the current situation and accept the redeemable vouchers.
“Customers can opt for travel vouchers which can be easily processed on our website,” said the spokesperson for Emirates.
This whole situation has made the customers rage on social media.
