Pakistan Travel Services Exports Shows Growth of 19.99% in First Quarter.

Pakistan Bureau of Statistics recorded earnings of $120.070 million from travel services exports in FY (19-20). Where as, in corresponding period of previous year, Pakistan earned $100.070 million. So, the figures shows an increase of 19.99% in exports of travel services in various countries.

According to the statistics, earnings from personal travel services increased to $118.640 million during July-September (2019-20). Where as in precious year, the recorded income was $98.060 million. The trend shows growth of 20.99%. The exports of education related services increased by 12.02 percent. However, the health related services declined by 81.75 percent.

More so, the other personal services increased by 22.64 percent. Like, religious and other travel services witnessed growth of 133.15 and 22.43 percent respectively.

However, the business services exports, decreased by 28.86 percent during the period. Its exports declined from $2.010 million to $1.430 million, the PBS data revealed.
