Google Parent Company Unveils First  Report: Youtube Makes More Than Google Cloud

Google parent company Alphabet gave the peak of the revenues for the first time and unveiled the revenue numbers of the most successful projects YouTube and Google Cloud.

The report provided by Alphabet revealed that YouTube generated a total of $15 billion in 2019 which has an extra $4 billion than the year 2018 which had a revenue of $11 billion. Google cloud, another successful business venture generated $8.9 billion which has an extra $3.6 billion than the revenue of 2018 which was $5.8 billion.

The overall earnings of Alphabet took a hike from $39.3 billion in 2018 to $46.1 billion in 2019. The net income also took a flight from $8.9 billion to $10.7 billion from 2018 to 2019.

This the first earning report since the new CEO Sundar Pichai has joined the company. he said, ” When you look at the fact that people are consuming a lot of goods and services as part of their experience on YouTube, how can we create better commerce experiences also is a big opportunity for us.”

However, many experts have identified a number of misses in this era. The analysts have raised the question of not meeting the sales growth expectations which reduced below 20% in three quarters.

Alphabet has identified currency change as the reason for this decline.

However, the report has received applause for its transparency since this is the first time a report with recorded statistic has been released publicly by the comapny Alphabet.

Hiring infrastructure is expected to be improved in 2020.
