Senior anchor and journalist, Hamid Mir, snapped back at Tariq Jameel over his statement about media telling lies. Mulan Tariq Jameel, a known Islamic scholar said a prayer at the end of the Ehsaas Program telethon in which he said, “The more lies are told in the media, the more problems arise.”
This statement was treated harshly by Hamid Mir who asked Mulana Tariq Jameel to name the media owner who lies since he prayed that the curse of Allah Almighty is on anyone who lies in the media.
More so, he claimed that Mulana Tariq Jameelsaid the same for Nawaz Sharif cabinet the way he says everything for Imran Khan raising a question to his authenticity.
