Khuwaja Saad Rafique, Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz League (PML-N) was wounded in a fire at the Lahore Camp Jail on Sunday.
The reason for the file eruption was a short-circuit in electrical wires.
Saad Rafique, Member National Assembly (MNA) and his brother Salman Rafique, Member Punjab Assembly are safe in watchdog custody since they have been going through the case of Paragon City Housing scam.
He informed the court of a minor head injury when he was presented before the court today. He said that he was running towards the security when his head hit an iron rod.
He has recently requested a jail near the Islamabad since he has to commute for almost eight hours for the hearing.
