PITB is focused on successfully and effectively give IT administrations and framework to the legislature and neighborhood and worldwide organizations. It launched an online Business Registration Portal in 2018 in collaboration with Industries Development.
Since its launch a total number of 18,513/- businesses has registered in the portal. The number of registered businesses in 2018-19 Q1 were 2,131, while in 2019-20 the reported number of registered businesses were 2,493. And according to the comparative report there is a 17% expansion in the current year. There were 10,858 association firm enlistments with the Industries division, 1,911 enrollments with Punjab Employees Social Security Institutions (PESSI) and 5,744 shops and foundation enlistments with the Labor Department, setting another worldview.
