Ministry of science and technology makes a 600% increase in its budget

The federal ministry of science and technology had made a 600% increase in its budget. This was announced by Fawad Hussain Chaudhry, Federal Minister of Science and Technology in the inaugural ceremony of the four-day 7th International Symposium-Cum-Training Course on Molecular Medicine and Drug Research. It is organized by Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research.

700 scientists from 35 countries are attending the event. The countries include Turkey, New Zealand, Kazakhstan, Sudan, Oman, Cameron, Sri Lanka, France, Canada, Hungry, Indonesia, Greece, USA, Jordan, Ethiopia, UK, Germany, Australia, Malaysia, Ethiopia, Thailand, Nepal and many more.

He told the press while talking about science and technology, that 27 new projects have been started by the government. Two billion rupees have already been approved by two ministries.

The minister of science and technology also added that Pakistan is on the way to manufacture local solar and lithium batteries since Chinese companies are ready to install new solar plants in Pakistan.

More so, the problem of unclean water for drinking in Karachi will be resolved in the next 16 months.

He also added that the event being conducted was an important step to get the understand of many diseases at the molecular level and will help in developing safe and effective drugs. More so, this event will result in developing important linkages on international levels.
