Pakistan Air Force Conducts Ra’ad II, Cruise Missile, Successful Flight Test

Ra’ad II, cruise missile, has conducted a successful flight test according to the statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

This cruise missile has a wide range of 600 kilometers enhancing the confrontation capability of Pakistan’s strategic missile forces. More so, it has the most updated navigation system which advances the precision targeting.

The director-general of Strategic Plans Division Lieutenant General Nadeem Zaki Manj, who observed the test along with NESCOM chairperson Dr. Nabeel Hayat Malik and senior officers from the Strategic Plans Division, Strategic forces and other strategic organizations appreciated the scientists and engineers who devoted their time and energy in the development of the missile.  He said that the launch was “a major step towards complementing Pakistan’s deterrence capability”.

Previously, Pakistan Army strategically conducted a successful launch of Ghaznavi ballistic missile with a range of 290-kilometre.
