Minister of Science and Technology, Fawad Hussain Chaudhary encouraged Chinese companies to look upon the investment opportunities offered in Pakistan and install solar panels and lithium batteries manufacturing units in the country. This meeting was held in Beijing with CEO of MERA PC Solutions.
He added that the government of Pakistan will be responsible for giving the human resource, technical support, land, and other opportunities which will be required in the joint collaboration.
Fawad Chaudhry was of the view that Pakistan has massive potential for manufacturing solar panels and lithium batteries. This opportunity can help them increase their energy exports to Middle East, Central Asia, Africa and neighboring countries like Afghanistan.
He also requested Chinese companies to spread out the manufacturing opportunities in Pakistan as the government of the country is striving hard to increase the production of new exports.
The CEO of the MEERA PC Solutions has responded positively and ensured technology transfer to Pakistan so that they can increase their exports and local manufacturing.
