Price of Tomatoes Reaches at 400 Per Kg Making PML-N Submit Resolution.

On Monday, PML-N member submitted a resolution to the Punjab assembly against prevalent high prices of vegetables in the country. PML-N member Sameera Komal stated in the resolution that tomato price set by the government is Rs. 185 per kg while the profit mafia is selling tomatoes at 400 Rs per kg.

The tomato price is touching the historic heights and public is unable to get access to basic necessity of life: Vegetables.

For the first time in the history of Pakistan, Financial hub Karachi recorded highest prices of Rs. 200/kg. The Prices are exceeding day by day, according to report the street sellers are selling tomatoes at Rs 240-Rs 280 per kg in Gujranwala.

In the resolution it was demanded that the government should take a strict action against the profit mafia and price control committees and market committees should implement government rates.
