The Ministry Of science and technology, in an attempt to improve the quality of electronic products, has set new 61 standards. This is also going to promote the quality of the sales of electronics in the country. The standards have bee presented to the cabinet are to be approved.
The news was announced through the Twitter handle of Fawad Chaudhry, the Minister of Science and Technology. This Tweet was published on Thursday.
The Tweet stated, ” As promised, the Ministry of Science has approved 61 electronics standards, to be implemented after the cabinet approval, which means that colored switches, boards will not be imported and only the standard electronics products will be sold in Pakistan.” (Pro Pakistani)
Sceince and Technology also assured to set the standards of cars and tractors will also be set soon.
