Pakistan Army shoots an Indian quadcopter on Thursday in Sankh district as it was violating the airspace of Pakistan as reported by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

ISPR revealed that “intruded 600 metres into Pakistan’s territory to conduct surveillance”. “This blatant act was aggressively responded to by Pakistan Army troops shooting down [the] Indian quadcopter.”

“Such unwarranted acts by Indian Army are clear violation of established norms, existing Air Agreement between two countries and reflect Indian army’s consistent disregard to Ceasefire Understanding of 2003,” the ISPR said.

Military sources told that this quadcopter is used for photographing Pakistani posts along with Line of Control as a part of their intelligence activities. This helps them select the target for the LoC shelling.

A quadcopter has been shot on March 16 in 2018 in the Rakhchikri sector near the LoC. This incident was recorded few days after two Indian Air Force were shot down invading Pakistan’s air space.
