Passports Of Overseas Pakistanis Will Be Delivered On Time Now!

Federal Ombudsman Secretariat has directed to deliver the Overseas Pakistanis passports and National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOPs) on time.

The complaints included the request of delivering the passports at the individual addresses and respective departments to deliver the documents to respective Pakistan Missions.

Federal Ombudsman Secretariat in this regard has issued notices to the relevant authorities   including the interior ministry, passports director-general and the NADRA chairperson

In Reply, the authorities have replied that 9,576 passports have already been dispatched and 463 passports have been sent to Malaysia by the passport department. The validity of the passports for the ex-pats has also been extended for one year for their convenience.

NADRA is also helping in the payment of the Airfare of PIA flights since it has been tasked to collect the airfares from the relatives rather than the individual stuck on the foreign land.
