According to the PCB, in a statement, it will now conduct an online meeting with the six franchise owners today later to update them regarding the latest development as well as to finalize all details, which will be announced later.
“We are much happy with this progress as the remaining hurdles in organizing the remaining 20 matches of PSL 6 in Abu Dhabi have been resolved and all systems are now open to resuming,” PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan stated.
He expressed gratitude to all authorities including the UAE government, National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, Emirates Cricket Board, and Abu Dhabi Sports Council for their cooperation and support to overcome all final obstacles.
“The PCB, after consulting the team owners, will now work fast to finalize all event-related arrangements, and the details will be shared in due course,” stated Khan.
He appreciated the untiring efforts and hard work of PCB officials for ensuring the Cricket Board honours its commitment to its fans to conduct the remaining PSL matches in June.
