Salam Kissan: PM Assures to Make Reforms for Small Farmers.

Pakistan Celebrates Kissan Day on 18th December for acknowledging the struggles of farmers. The prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan assured that the government will facilitate the small farmers. He said:

On Kisan Day I want to reiterate our commitment to facilitating our small farmers in increasing their yields, getting fair prices for their crops & improving market access. We are also ensuring their access to Sehat Health Cards & to educational scholarships through Ehsaas prog.

Pakistan is an agricultural country and Kissan Day is celebrated across the country in order to create awareness regarding the rewarding policies of the small farmers. And, to pay tribute to the efforts of farmers around the country.

However, first time in the history of Pakistan the country is celebrating Kissan day. Above all, the problems faced by the farmers like access to the market, getting fair rewards and others are highlighted. More so, agriculture and farming is an important sector of Pakistan’s economy and directly supports the country’s population.
