Sesame Street Airing a Special Episode For Children In Lockdown

One of the most popular TV shows will be aired especially for children in lockdown. This special episode will have celebrity guests including Lin-Manuel Miranda and actors Anne Hathaway and Tracee Ellis Ross.

“We hope Sesame Street: Elmo’s Playdate will entertain and delight families at a moment when so many are feeling isolated and overwhelmed by current events,” revealed Steve Youngwood, President of Sesame Workshop.

The show will be aired in a video conferencing style portraying social distancing and quarantine restriction. First, it will air in the US and then Australia, the UK, and Canada on a later date.

The show will include songs like Old McDonalds and “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes.’

This is a great initiative especially when all the daycares and schools across the world are closed because of coronavirus.
