Asad Umar, Federal Minister for Planning and Development has reveled that last month the Federal Government decided to increase the number of oxygenated beds in hospitals across Pakistan.
The number of the beds estimated to be increased was 2000. However, the government has been able to give 1825 beds acroos the country in all the provinces.
The minister revealed via his twitter handle that 1,825 oxygenated beds have been added. 550 in the federal capital, 480 in Punjab, 390 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), 150 in Balochistan,125 in Sindh, 90 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and 40 in Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B).
