27 Killed, Dozens Injured In Bus, Trailer Accident In DG Khan
At least 27 people died and over 30 sustained injuries as a result of the collision of a passenger coach with a trailer in Dera Ghazi (DG) Khan, reported on Monday.
At least 27 people died and over 30 sustained injuries as a result of the collision of a passenger coach with a trailer in Dera Ghazi (DG) Khan, reported on Monday.
As stated by Emergency Rescue 1122, the unfortunate incident occurred near Taunsa By-Pass in DG Khan where a passenger coach, on its way from Ranjanpur to Sialkot, collided with a trailer, killing on the spot twenty-seven persons while injuring over 30 others.
Rescue teams reached the site and shifted the injured and dead bodies to the district hospital.
A similar incident took place on May 30 which killed at least six people while 30 others were injured when a passenger bus carrying them turned turtle after skidding off a bridge in Khanewal.
As per the rescue officials, the incident occurred near Pull Rango.

According to them, the ill-fated bus was going to Multan from Lahore when it met an accident. The driver of the bus lost control as he was trying to avoid hitting a motorcycle, owing to which the bus overturned, they said further.
